Viton valve guide seals

Those seals look identical to hi end kit Kenny Dreer once sold. Only need two per engine.
 
It sure sucks when you can buy 8 seals like that for $20.00 when 2 with our part # will cost close to that price and be just formed rubber without the spring and the pretty blue.

I think I used to use datsun 2000 seals on my bike in the 70's and they fit perfectly. They are probably harder to find now than Norton seals though. Anyone know of other switchable seals commonly available at your local auto pts counter?

Toyota valve seals also will work---they have the spring as well---I had some guides cut for fit years ago---the guides need to be turned down a bit and a groove cut so the seals will be a good fit. Not that big a deal. Just get the toyota guide and that will be used to cut the Norton guides the same. The Toyota seals were Viton also as I recall.
