Well, wrote to Norton directly via their website last night, and this morning received an Email at 9am prompt, asking for my address, so they can arrange collection. So far, so good.
What is the shoulder diameter? Thread diameter?Hello , I have finally gotten back to doing some investigation into my clutch and ring gear. I have a November 2014 built Donny Sport with some miles on it.

At left is my original clutch assy with the markings , on right is a TVS Norton Clutch assy purchased early/mid 2023 .

What I am asking you to notice is that all of my shoulder bolt came unscrewed with the slightest of effort with my bit/ratchet. I can also report that my original clutch bolts are so secure that I would break the bit trying to remove them..

Maybe Stu knows ?Be interesting to know what the difference in the 14A vs 16A part numbers indicates.
I did the same but so far no further update. Just emailed them again. Can I check did they say yours was in a defective batch or are they pulling them all in? Also - any indication of when you will get it back?Up until yesterday I was taking the approach of ‘trust the process’ and waiting for Norton to contact me.
Yesterday I ran out of patience and contacted Norton. They replied very quickly, and this morning I got confirmation that the bike is being collected tomorrow.
The collecting guy said he has a ‘very large list’… which considering that many are still awaiting contact, is only gonna get bigger and fast.
My point is… irrespective of the ifs / buts and maybes… if you want your bike sorting ASAP I would strongly advise contacting Norton directly. And quickly.
Yes they confirmed that mine was affected by the recall.I did the same but so far no further update. Just emailed them again. Can I check did they say yours was in a defective batch or are they pulling them all in? Also - any indication of when you will get it back?
Take plenty of photos- every conceivable angle. No doubt they’ve outsourced transportation.Mine is supposed to be collected today. Will let you know of any feedback I get from the collection company when they arrive.
Oh quit your bragging !
Don't know - I'm in Lincolnshire (so not that close to the factory).Since my last comment, when I had a reply from 'Keith' at Norton who asked for my post code, which I sent immediately, I've heard nothing more. Was hoping to get a pick up date before the bank holiday weekend, but not happened. Fingers crossed its not too long a wait. I'm in the NW, I wonder if they are starting with collections close to the factory?
