Yep I know how to do a voltage test. I'm a ASE auto mechanic. But this is the very first bike I ever owned and I do not have a wiring schematic. I'm pretty sure the problem is inside the tach because that's where the turn signal indicator is. When I turn the turn signals on, the indicator will illuminate when I have the handle bars turned left or straight ahead, but when I turn slightly to the right or full lock to the right the indicator does not work at all. So I'm pretty sure it's a loose connection.
