Tried a Different Electronic Ignition System

Please say more on this topic.
Early Pazon's were of one type only and a copy of the Boyer, made by ex Boyer employees with their own improvements mainly to solve the advancing ignition with low Bat V. They had tried to get Boyer to do this change when still employed by Boyer and when denied left to make their improved version. They also added a requirement for the wake up signal to show the rpm of the engine before the box would wake up from sleep mode. To be able to measure rpm you need to know the time between 2 signals hence the need for the extra signal over the Boyer's single signal. I was providing occasion advice to someone rebuilding a B50 and he bought a Pazon but could not get it to start with the kicker, kicking over with the plug out got a spark at the plug, he could also bump start it but could not kickstart it. So I read the instructions and this rpm test was there and I realised this need for an extra signal over the Boyer. The test was to prepare for the kick with the ignition off and then turn the ignition on and kick before it had time to go to sleep, this worked for him. Passing this info onto Pazon and they admitted the issue, Pazon provided a custom box with a longer sleep time which was available on request and they added the warning not to fit to high compression singles. At some point they dropped the rpm test and the Sure-fire, as the analogue Boyer copy is now known, it no longer has the ref in the instructions not to fit to high compression singles.
