tri-link

Ya, and if you put crap in a shiny can and could pitch cool somehow most new HD owners would buy it. Somehow I don't think a rod link is going to help handling on a harley.

Mr. Hopper gave HD the engineering to rubber mount then restrain by rod links.
Tease all ya like about clunky HD handling but I know how hard it is to keep up with a well ridden HD that has some lean clearance. Ain't no way a regular or even most race Commando can even keep up with the 100+cid powered ones that can cruise at 150. When I had my P!! dragster that'd walk away from red lined 750 triple 2 smokes, the only things that ran at my speeds on opens were the 1%'r out law bikers, at is was all I could do to keep up with them over the ton and believe they could of out run my race bike for top end. Surprised the heck out of me and them too, so much so they took a classic nerd with penny loafers and slide rule into their inner circles, which shocked me so much I avoided contact as much as possible.

Some of the links in catalogs can work off the shelf for Commando adaptations.

I remind thee, ya don't know what ya missing out on w/o a rear link and its helpers.
