I've read tons of posts on primary chain tension but nothing beats the real thing. I've got a newly re-built Norton Commando and I'd greatly appreciate meeting someone with the same to get a practical sense of the proper primary chain tension. I have yet to take it out ofr a long road test and I'd like to get this right.

I know there used to be some Brit bike owners that would rendezvous for breakfast in the Beaches on Sundays. Any East enders know anything about this?

You're right, it's difficult to sort things out online or over the phone. Maybe you can find somebody through the INOA chapter.

Also try contacting the Olde Fort York chapter of the CVMG as they meet in that area during riding season.
