This is probobly a tired old topic for some but Im getting ready to mount a set of new Avon Roadriders. I bought two 100-90-19's and am wondering if it would have been better to get a 110-90-19 for the rear? Any thoughts ???

Another vote for running the same size front and back. Easily the best handling thing I've ever ridden was my old '73 850 Norton with 4.10 X 19 Roadrunners front and rear.

110 on the rear, as 100/90x19 is smaller than the oe 410x19, a hot set up if you can still find one is a 100/90x19 tt100gp front with a 410x19 std tt100 rear.

Easy one. They don't make a 110/90/19 Roadrider unless it's something new. Also, the standard rim would be too narrow to use it. Avon recommend a 2.5 inch rim for the 100/90 Roadrider. The 100s are a great tyre for the Commando. I've been through a bundle of them. When the rear is worn out, the front goes to the rear and the new one goes on the front.

Thank you gentelman ( I mean that loosely ) I'll give the 100-90-19's a try front & rear as I have them in hand. I always used K81's in years past.
