Tight spot on rear chain. Advice asked for.

My 850 rear chain has a tight spot and is likely original. Can I just replace the chain to eliminate the tight spot?
Or must I replace the rear gear and front gearbox output gear?

I ride 2,000 kms max per year and that number will be declining due to my age!

Just replace the chain if the rear sprocket still looks to be in good nick and it should be fine.

An original rear chain? Wow. It has heritage value!
