Easily the worse commercial I have ever seen, despite having a Norton in it. Thanks for nothing.

Funny enough I was speaking to Peter Scratchard recently and he told me about taking 2 commandos (if I remember correctly) from the Oxford area of the UK to near Rome to film that, all expenses paid I think so not a bad gig.
Where do you buy these tyres? Cool in the dark.........

Yes its just like that for some of us Commando riders but I quite burning up tires like that as no video for it back then. Right now stumped just to hear one all alone.

LOL
The ad Almost had me convinced except the Norton would have had a silver dollar sized scent posting of straight weight 50 near the rear wheel.
Good one dave.
CNN

Of course we all know it's fantasy as any proper Norton owner would be too busy posting on this forum about the virtues of reed valves, single weight oils, rod ends and TriSparks to bother with the randy wench...

I blame Jerry.

Call me a Grumpy Old Git if you like, but I see that Norton Motorcycles (UK) Ltd are claiming some involvement with this advert. Strange then that it doesn't feature a 961 Commando rather than the proper Commando used. There again, I suppose they were just too busy delivering 961's to all those customers who've already paid in full and waited, and waited, and.........

Are you on that list? Do you know someone who is?

No. Yes. And I've ridden a production 961 that convinced me not being on the list was the correct decision.
