I had a brief email chat with Ollie today.

Bad news on the 2:1, he says it needs a re-design. He is a perfectionist and clearly wasn’t happy that it was perfect. So this will be a while.

However, he said some interesting things about mapping:

“Now we can map the ECU directly and no longer need the power comander.
We can adjust any value for timing, fuel maps, ignition, temp tables, etc.

On the Dyno we have realized that every bike is different. One good map doesn´t work on an other bike, not 100%”.

So, if you can’t ride your 961 in the shut down, why not get it couriered to Ollie and let him work his magic ?!
 
Does that hold whether your ECU is SCS or OMEX?

I dunno, best to email him for details I guess.

But, if I understand correctly, he fine tunes them to the bike on the dyno. He therefore needs the bike, so not a viable option for you guys ‘over there’.

BTW, Ollie will soon have fitted FCR flat slides to a 961. Now that WILL be interesting to see / hear...!

Wait, what, wow, that can't happen soon enough!
This may end up costing me a fortune.
Air freight a 961 to Germany and back, 2-into-1 exhaust, FCR conversion kit.....
If it all works I can forego the supercharger.:D
