All ready except for the paint, and a few technical details like front brake, coils and petcocks that actually fit. Not being one for aesthetics, here's the assembled machine:

Might actually fire it up on Sunday. If there's a parade of fire trucks headed to East Toronto, it will likely be me.

Looks acceptable trim and clean and smart crisp lines to me. I don't see the factory coils which is fine, but what's the grey thingy just under back of seat? A lot of Saturday night street racers were primer grey and the money and time went into more pleasing performance efforts
 
Looks like a hand made tank. But who cares. As long as it don't have Ape hangers. I won't poke fun at it. :mrgreen:
 
If I were you, I'd make sure the petcocks and the needle valves in the float bowls don't leak (too much). We don't want no stinkin' fires.

You got it. Aluminum tank. No rust, no chemical degradation, it's light, looks good and will last forever. I'll hold on to the fibre-glass tank but aluminum wins the day.
