Here is a pretty cool video of a tractor that my grandad and his brother put together for more power back in the 60's. There were quite a few exports to the US

I had a feeling you were related. My first job was with County Tractors in Oct 70 and Ernest Doe were one of our biggest dealers. Did the product planning paperwork on lots of 754's for Does every Friday.

Hi Keith, yes my grandad was Ernest's brother (Herbert). They were in it together for a while. My grandad was more on the contractors side towards the end and did a lot of work for the government among other things. Unfortunately he died quite young ( I still miss him). Anyway, I left UK in my early 20's as could not find any decent work and have not been back home (UK) very much. I still go back to visit my dad as often as I can. He lives in Suffolk.

Bernhard, Really cool to see the steam engine movies- Thanks for posting that here.

Cheers- Jerry

I didn't come to the pub for a long time, thought it would be full of the usual fktards spinning their usual bs, I haven't been enjoying the classic forum as much lately and thought a wander to the back of the pub was in order
This is neat , apparently your grandparents could have been hillbillies, or NewZealanders
Went to a vintage tractor show recently, 12.7 litre single cyl bulldog tractor idling away, must have rocked 6'' on its back wheels
