The Californian Classic MC show at Santa Anita on March 7 - anyone going?

The marque is British, so I'll head up there, it's only an hour's ride or drive. I really dislike riding the freeway, but trailering is a bit of a chore, so I'm on the fence. Also, to display or not. I'm not sure why they charge for the folks bringing in the eye candy. Granted, it's $30, not a whole lot to get grumpy about. I'm just not sure what the benefit is, unless I win a cash prize, which I won't.
 
It got canceled last minute due to high winds in the infield. I found this out by surprise after driving 45 minutes to get there. :oops:

I've been before and it's a nice venue if you like horse racing also as I do!

At least we were able to see some horse racing - the wind did not seem to impact them much, nor the racing fans in attendance.

I'd only go out of my way again if I need to see a vendor as all the local ones are there, like Buchanan's, etc.

Didn't know that. I bailed on it myself, I don't like high winds much.
