Hi, Can anyone out there in Nortonland point me in the direction of a new plastic / fi-glas., tail - light fairing, the type found on Roadster / Interstate models -- not the Fastback type.Thanks. Ride safely. James.

Any Norton parts supplier should either stock or be able to get that part.
There are two different types; one for the pointed style tail lamp (part 06-1122) and another type for the square lamp (06-3731).

If you don't like the look of the plastic mount with the big square taillight, there are several places selling nice smaller alloy ones with smaller (but brighter!!) tallights. I bought mine unpolished from Old Britts and polished it myself. I think it looks awesome!! Old Britts also sell some machined alloy mounts for the small square turn signals if you want to go that route. I think the setup looks pretty slick on my 74 Commando but it is definitely not original. Please e-mail me off list if you want some photos of how it looks on my bike. I really did not like the original taillight set up (looks cheap and ugly to me) but I am also not that interested in maintaining absolutely stock appearance of my bikes.
