Swingarm question

So I was looking at the stock swingarm, and originally I had wanted to swap it for something totally different and fit a wider wheel. I am building my bike to relatively resemble the new style nortons with the wider rear wheel. Has anyone cut and lengthened the swingarm?

You can shove a maximum of a 130 in the stock swingarm. The problem you will run into with trying to fit anything larger is chain clearance. It's really impracticable to do. an ofset sprocket on the front and removing the primary will gain a little, a jackshaft will give more but will become too complicated and cumbersome. Look thru my old build posts about the monoshock. I fit a 160 in a custom swingarm and ofset sprocket. I scrapped the whole idea after a while.
