It's a shame that the film doesn't show the other side. I once saw a girder forked Velocette start to tank slap as the front wheel came light at the crest. Unfortunately, it was still slapping when he landed and cartwheeled.
It doesn't look too impressive on film but it's actually a launch ramp at the top if you don't back off.

How much do they charge to ride up the hill?

A few years ago the Morgan Owners club had their annual rally there, and they all had a go at the hill. One of my Uncles came across the top just as if he was in his F5000 race car...there's a photo of him at the crest of the hill with all 4 wheels 3 feet off the ground!!79x100 said:

I only took a few minutes before my battery went. Some of those riders were riding up for the first time getting a feel for the hill and if you look at the last on the clip he went up a lot quicker than he did at the beginning. The rider going for it was on a modern Triumph. It's 10% rising to 25% and over the top there is gravel and a 100 deg right turn about 30 feet from the top. If you don't stop you risk colliding with the end of the old restaurant building. My mate managed not to get any of me but going as hard as I dared I hit 60 at the top before the crest and just into 2nd gear. The concrete track is bumpy and reputedly the original material from the 30's. Take a look at this Multimap view, zoom in and go around the compass, you'll get a better idea of the layout. Oh and we were warned about deer in the woods, apparently engine noises spook them!
