Steering damper tips ? A.N. TUV ODM 500 .

Back to original topic , yes I was referring to John Robert Bauld , Landsdowne fork upgrade , if Don P. is making them they will be top quality …. The mounting of steering damper was very straight forward as I recall , that’s all I got this many years after , I apologize

I have one of these NHK dampers on my ‘72 roadster and prior had one on my ’73 750. Im not familiar with part “N” what is it’s purpose?

N. says : stud , on my crummy instructions . But it's a very long thingy . Thanks for the good photo . I'm not going to attempt fitting this unit until more advice . Like which items to fit first and order of assembly and finding best place to put the clamp (s) , on the 2 down tubes . MK 111 Interstate . Thanks . It's winter now so time to get it right first try .

I do not use a clamp. I have a small bracket which is held to the cylinder head by two high tensile screws on the plate at the end of the front rocker spindle. It is strong enough. The loads are usually progressive and not great. It might break off in a crash, but that is not really relevant.
