Had a few minutes spare, so I took the opportunity to fit my new stainless rotor to the front of my bike. When I get a chance, I will fit one for the rear as well.
It was a good fit on the spigot, bolt holes aligned perfectly, and the offset is spot on, running right down the centre of the caliper opening. Brake pad engagement on the wipe zone looks correct, with no over-bite showing.
I also popped in some platinum pads, as recommended. I like the look, and I personally am happier with this type of stainless rotor that permits the retention of the stock caliper, which I really would not ever want to change (also for the way it looks).
I snapped this quick pic.
