sneezing out the intake. 1962 650ss finishing a total rebuild of a basket case.

I'v built lots of commandos, a few Atlas years ago, I'm wondering maybe if some timing gears may differ. after a tickle she sneezes fuel out the intake , rebuilt mag lots o spark, not even a fart, like the exhaust I'm baffled. Andy

If you've got lots of spark and fuel but not even a fart - you haven't inadvertently got it sparking at the wrong TDC?
Maybe swap the leads over to check?

Definitely swap leads.

Is it a K2F mag? Do you know to check the timing is the same on both sides? You can have a worn cam ring or the armature can be out of alignment and the timing can differ by 10 degree plus side to side. Good way to destroy pistons. I know.
