I had a teething problem with my Slimline Triton and needed to replace my lower yoke. When I fit it all back together I will want to remove the upper fork shroud and leave the forks bare. What do I need to replace the chrome covers with to make it look open like my Commando?

But more to the point… WTF happened to your yoke ??
Ok, long story shortened. My first ride since the full rebuild, and I’m expecting some teething problems.
I went over a very big speed hump with front brake hard on. The forks bottomed out, and then punched their way upwards, stripping the stem threads and when I picked up the wreckage helped by a couple of guys who sprinted across the road to help me, the damage was obvious.

I’ll own up to this, for some unknown reason the rh pinch bolt was only hand tight, although the lh was f-tight. My mistake, sh!t happens and I lived to tell the tale. I know the bike had been crashed earlier in its life, it looks almost as though there is tell-tale evidence around the stem - the dark bits

I’m fitting an alloy lower yoke and will want to either fit gaiters or the commando type seals.

I think you’ve added to our experience of the World.

I’ve never seen anything quite like that bottom yoke.

I’m going out to the shed to check the tightness of mine right now.

But hey, welcome to the ‘I LITERALLY lost the front end’ club !!
