This poor chap is like Sisyphus, rolling that boulder up the hill, even has on-lookers slagging him off:

920cc & 11:1 CR....what an accomplishment!

Sisyphus?!?! I like it can't wait to use it on one of my friends, they will have to think about it for a moment, by then I'll be out of reach LOL

Yeah and who was the other bloke down there in the Underworld with Sissy, the poor bugger who had to bend down
to get a drink of water only to have the knee-deep sea immediately recede?
Must have been an owner of a stock electric start 850....

That looks 'bout the same as kicking over an Atlas with a magneto ....

Not with a JH maggie, so no need to comment, Ashman .....

Sparks ain’t the problem, sheer difficulty in turning it over due to the capacity and compression ratio is the challenge.

I blame the idiot who built the motor... a right Sisyphus...

Why didn't he get astride of it? That's what I do. One foot on the left peg and the right on the KS. That way you can get your full weight on it. Not like it's going anywhere on the stand.

It’s just more stable that way. It’s 920 and 11:1 CR remember. I’m over 200lbs and giving it ALL my might. I tried it all ways and the odd looking side saddle method was the best.

But now I got the technique sorted so well I only use my thumb...!

I could never start my bike off to the side. I'm 170-190 depending on the week and I've seen guys start my bike sitting on the seat using their right leg to just push it over, and they were smaller and lighter than me. I could never do that. Maybe I just didn't have the 'MoJo'? Only time I've been able to do that is when the bike has been run for a while. Cold, never but then I used to use straight 50W in it. I'll admit with 20W50 syn, it's much easier.

I've got no thumb commensurater.

But 3 tries is acceptable and it sounds good.
