Sidestand rebuild

Hi guys nube here have a 72 roadster and the sidestand mount on the frame is wore, the sidestand will not lock in down position. it will keep going to the front can someone post a picture on what it is supposed to look like , I think it has a nub for a stop but mine is wore off

Lug repair piece



This is welded to the frame, the sidestand slot also wears out so weld and dress both your lug and side stand slot until the stand stops at a slight angle forward.

More than likely a condition from kick starting while on side stand. The stand pivot hole in the fork can also oval out. That seems to happen from flopping about when folded up riding along. Poor design compared to other makes.
