Nice photos hobot. But a Commando outfit would not be my idea of a good mix. I was planning a Dominator with chair when suddenly this opportunity jumped out from no where. I wasn't even looking. Exactly the same as what happened when I bought my Fastback. I wasn't even looking for any Norton at that point. On both occasions I knew I was going to buy the machine on sight. I know you are so supposed to hunt and chase and weigh different offerings up, but I tend to run on instinct to a certain extent. I have been around motorcycles for a long long time. Only bad purchase I have ever made was a Yamaha DT 360 which I bought at night. For some stupid reason I didn't try it hands off steering and later found the rear swing arm twisted. That bike was a shocker in every respect in concept.

A BMW in the family certainly won't upset the Norton's. They've all gotten over the war. Norton number six is only one in front of BMW's owned in my long list spanning many years.

Phil no need to copy the all the photo's again just to reply. The world is full of wonderful side cars but its considered taboo from the Norton designers and those that believed them so please remove your common as dirt impulse buy rig that's nothing to do with our joy on Commandos and what not to do to them. Not all of these are Commando but at least Commando engined.

There are a handful more I don't have URL to post them yet. One is a race track firehose carrier.

What ever I did for an outfit hobot, it was never going to be a Commando. Sorry you are offended but you yourself have been guilty of talking about rice burners and posting pictures of such.
Be true to yourself hobot. Don't just become yet another hypocrite on the forum.
The cup is already brimming.

Ok, then let it be known you think you can do better than a Command side car, while I say there's nothing better, especially in Combat Bomb version on flat tracker tires.
