Most of the stuff is solid. The electronics stores have striped quite often. Car looms come in all sorts of colors. I've seen very nice stripes on Ebay, oddly enough last winter when I was looking for wire and connectors to wire a train. The problem with Ebay is quite often the day you want something is not the day they have it. Another Ebay trick is to buy a late model bike harness just for the wire, you can also get auto haneses there sometimes.
