seat pan question

Having never had a look at an Interstate seat pan I need to ask: are they the same as a Roadster pan with different padding and cover or are they shaped altogether different?

Totally different. Roadster tank is much shorter so mounting lugs are in a different place & base is a different shape.

I made this interstate pan to fit wee tank , boy it's a untidy job ,stick welder burning holes , riveted some plates on the burst bits , looks shit fits great when it was covered. I may be slow , but I am rough.

What is an amp?
 
FFS I hope the inside of your engine doesn't look like that. Gas weld it or braze it, but cover it up quick. Make sure you don't have too thick a lower edges or the clips will break when fitting them and the silver trim. wont fit easily.
 
I took a worse roasting off my pals, deservedly so , but what about the diddy that covered it?

He was probably on something so I was told later, but I like it.
