Second link is rather slow to open.

This link works better for me (and is the actual photo URL)

'Craven' was well known in the UK (and elsewhere probably) manufacturer of motorcycle hard luggage in the '60s and '70s, but I think do not make very much of that sort of thing now.

Jerome,

i have a pair of Dougs bags (see the pic in Early Risers). Nicely made, the brackets fitted easily and Doug was good to deal with.
The bags are small though, more day tripping use than touring.
The top rack is also small but i have tied a large sport bag to it no trouble for a three day trip.

I did hear Craven had gone out of business recently? Their panniers were fitted to the police interpol models in the uk.

Cravens...ala 1977. Without big reflector that I fitted myself. Fiberglass, locks, not a quick job to install and take off...most likely too much trouble to mount and remove rack just for a day trip, but bags can be removed with a 1/2 inch wrench and two bolts(two minutes)...large capacity and a nice rack... bags are somewhat water resistant...
