If it's you're first weekend off work in ages, don't spend the entire time working on your bike in the garage or you might find yourself in the dog house and 'priveliges' revoked.

Tip #2

Dont order more parts online than you can afford.

But isn't that what Norton ownership is all about?

(this week: new mufflers from Phil Radford/Fair Spares!)

Tip #3; If draining engine oil for reuse and so storing it in a drain tray with a cloth over it - do not let the cat in.

If you don't have a center stand, make sure the wooden crate under the bike is made with screws - not nails. (or one afternoon you'll hear a sickening crash)

haha.. for my old honda cub90, i was using the plastic case for my sodering gun as a stand. i would rest the bike on the case via the foot peg. suprisingly, this has worked for about 2 years now.. and trust me the bike has been bumped into!

hopefully this wasnt recent for ya
