The thing about race tracks is they develop. If somebody crashes, the track is often adjusted. But if an improvement to a corner is made, the guys usually speed up and negate the improvement. Either that or the problem simply moves a bit further up, in the direction of travel. I could never ride an R1 Yamaha or similar on a public road. It would be a cert to go into a corner too hot. I once rode a VFR400. It was too easy, thankfully it was speed limited. The guy I was with was riding a 1000cc Suzuki. He rode through the bends on a country road as though the trees on the outside of the bends were not there. One slip and you are dead - silly stuff.
