Having recently seen a posting about removing rust from chrome by using abrasive paper and WD40 it reminded me of another method that is a lot kinder to the metal surface.Take some " tin foil " dip it in water and rub over the offending chrome surface .... simple as that !! ( aluminum foil across the pond ... Lol )An old " trick " but still a good one - shown to me by my grandfather when I was but a boy cleaning up my first adult sized bicycle
