I'm very sad to read this
What a great man he was
R I P Tom

I got to meet him at Nortona, 2017 or thereabouts.

Godspeed TC.

Thanks for contributing to the Norton persona of badassfast. 💪🏻🏁

Spoke with him a time or two on a picnic table at the BBC. Offered a tent guy shelter from coming weather in his motorhome across the way. Real nice guy and a legend. RIP

I had first gone to Sunset Motors in the early 80s.
T C brought the Hog Slayer out to the Great Lakes Norton Rally (1985?) in Wind Lake WI.
The police blocked the road off in front of the campground for this.
Do to finances and three kids, I had to sell the Norton.
Around 2002, I was able to but it back. My youngest son, Brian, would go along with me on parts runs to Sunset.
He would remember my name, but more importantly, he remembered Brian's.
We would also run into T C at the Davenport IA. swap meets and some of the Norton rallies. He always remembered us and would say Hi.
One year the National Rally was held in Ohio and timed to tie in with Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio.
T C and Dick Klamfoth both signed a red beer mug from the rally for Brian.
The beer mug and a Bent Valve Award from a rally in Utah, both still hang in Brians' shed,
After Brian was killed, when I would go back for parts, he would talk about Brian and where he had seen us in the past and how much he like talking to him.
Rest In Peace T C
