quick tire question

Got my new tt100/k81 today in 3.60 to replace my 4.10 front. Only thing is the 3.60 doesn't give an indication of which way to mount it on the sidewall like my 4.10 does.... Does it really matter which way I mount it?

I have Dunlop 4.10 front and rear. The 4.10 measures approximately 4 inches in width. What does the Dunlop 3.60 measure in width (at the widest point)?

oh, I just wondered because the norton workshop manual says to run at 26/26, the haynes at 22/24, the clymer at 24/26, and the previous owner said 28/28....

Do most people run with even pressures or a little less in the front?

Probably depends on tire size.

In my experience, tire pressure is very much a personal thing. Trial and error, somewhere between the minimum listed in the owner's manual and the maximum listed on the tire.

Just play around with it until the bike feels comfortable. A couple of pounds difference can change the character.
