If you've reached the point at which machining is deemed necessary to rectify, then it's clearly got to go back for replacement/refund.It's not just Wassells branded goods either.... after issues with my freshly rebuilt T160 gearbox I went through my local Triumph spares specialist's entire stock of new LF Harris gearbox cam plates with a lathe and DTI and 20% were useable. The rest were like buckled pushbike wheels.
