Well I did it! I got quotes from local dealer at 5.00pm on Monday for 3 mileage options, and then spent yesterday trying to decide which one and looking at insurance quotes. This morning I contacted the dealer, only to be told that Norton pulled the deal yesterday and I was too late! Luckily I had asked for the quotes to be emailed and noticed that the small print mentioned they were valid for 48 hours. So this morning the dealer said they would honour the quotes and I've put down a deposit. Phew! So I just got in by a matter of hours! Big demand so delivery could be sometime in May, which suits me fine.It wasn't just the deal that made me "pull the trigger" it was knowing there is such a wealth of helpful information and expertise on this forum. So thank you chaps.
