Proper bracket placement

Before I mount this I wanted to make sure I had it right...could someone please post a shot or direct me to the proper thread showing the correct mounting direction and placement for this bracket?
I lost some of my photos of they are buried in the card somewhere...this is a rear wiring bracket on a 1974 Commando. I am close to having it figured out but need confirmation. It is the top pic of the two I am confused on.....
