production date

i picked up a drivetrain stuck in a chopper frame...

i was told it was an atlas (now i know this was wrong)

i was told it was a 750 (now i know this was wrong)

i was told it was 1973 (the only thing tat seemed right)

im anything but upset, i traded an old miller tig rig for the norton and a complete triumph, but had a ? about the exact date built...

ser#306303, would this be pre or post merge? and which is better?

i have liberated it from the chopper frame and plan on building a new frame of my own design, not that it is better than anything just different...
