Pre Unit Exhaust?

Pipes make or break a Triton. Sadly, the majority seem to break them...!

You could buy some un chromed down pipes from Armours and cut n shut them prior to having them chromed (or just paint black). That's what I did in the pics below (also using Dresda's head stub fittings etc).

Dresda has stock bends made up (swept back or normal), then brazes them up to the head stub fitting in situ to ensure a really nice line and tight 'tucked in' pipe. He does nice Goldie cans, or racing style megaphones with removable / changeable internals too. He makes a very nice job in term of looks and performance.

Trouble is, like most good outfits, if you go to Dresda you'll end up coming away with a lot more goodies, and a thinner wallet, than you planned.

Worth it in the end though:

I, too, dislike the swept-back pipes, as they block access to the engine covers, ignition cavity, etc.

My thoughts also.

They do however provide surprisingly good crash damage protection!
