PM cleanup

We now have a backup of around 80 thousand PM's in the database, some over 5 years old. I know the PM function is not brilliant using this PHPBB forum, but it works. I was wondering if you could help out by deleting some of your old PM's to clean up the database. First look in your "sent" folder. All of these messages can be deleted. In the "Inbox" delete what you no longer need. To remove messages add the check mark or to select all "mark all" then in the drop down menu, "delete marked". If you see messages in the Outbox it is because the recipient has not seen the message yet, these can be removed if they are old. You have to do this for each page (1,2,3,4,5 etc). There are some scripts where I can auto prune old messages, but I am trying to avoid that.

I am thinking about allowing registered users 50 or 100 PMs and raising the VIP member storage from 300 to 500 PM's to balance this out. I will check in a few days to see how the database looks.
