Does anyone have a new petcock with the cylindrical rubber sleeve that they would be willing to take apart and measure the length of the sleeve ?

On my leaky ones the sleeve is almost flush with the shoulder on the recess. Placing a shim behind it should restore the seal...

Thanks

I don't have a new one, but I have some original petcocks that were not leaking when I removed them. I am on the road right now but could get measurments over the weekend.

Greg,

Cylidrical rubber sleeve sounds like one of the Taiwan copies. These have a bad habit of the sleeve rotating and cutting off fuel flow as the two holes in the rubber no longer align with the tap. Follow the rest of us and switch to BAP petcocks. The originals are better than the rubber sleeve type. They eventually leak, but the flow is always good.
