For some reason , before the homemade shims inserted , no sparks at kicking speed , plugs in. Plugs out , occasional sparks. When it actually fired up ran reasonably above 2000rpm, misfiring and cutting out at tickover. With shims, as intended sparks ! Boyer had none of this. Worked fine. It all started when Quest to make the electric start functional ! I had the pazon sitting on the shelf for a good few years waiting ! I attach photos of backplates and homemade shims.
