Yes, but there's also a return via the "v" created by the bevelled edge on the front of each tappet.
Put your tappets in wrongly and your cam is on it's way to failure.

It's a MK 111 , so pour a bit of oil into the exh. rocker covers , put in a new battery , drain out old oil through sump and put in new , pull spark plugs putting them back into the HT leads and clipping them to a head fin ( this is to protect ignition components ) , new fuel , crank over the bike motor with clutch pulled in ( or kick it over many times with ign. on , observing for spark at the plugs ) . Plugs back in , tickle carbs , ign. on , clutch in , hit starter button . Good luck .
