P11A Ranger brochure picture.

The only brochure that appears to present the actual model being sold is the 'Color Me Fun' Ranger brochure.

Early P11 ads showed the pre-production picture with the air-brushed battery cover.

This cover does not exist, so don't try to find one (battery sticks out about 2 inches, so the cover wouldn't fit anyway if one made a copy)

P11A ads showed P11s

This same layout was also used for the Matchless versions of these bikes

Early Ranger ads showed P11As.

Rangers did not come with badges, and had the same seat as the late N15, with different mounting tabs.

As I've stated before, with a production run of only about 18-20 months, spanning 3 model years, changes came so fast that ad copy was obsolete before it hit the magazines.

And here is the same Cycle Sport article photo, right side
again the exhaust pipe rout and shape are worth noting.
The bend pattern on right side do not appear to match left side
Hmnn... I disagree, I think it is an optical illusion created by the photographer not being at exactly the same height, angle and distance from the subject. Regardless, please do not take offence, I am certain I shall be asking you for advice in the near future!

Original pipes don't have the same bend on both sides. My current bike with original pipes doesn't & my 1st one, bought new, didn't. The primary cover & timing cover have significantly different shapes & dimensions, requiring different bends on the two sides for a close fit.

I was able to get an original, two sided Matchless sales sheet off ebay, very nice.
Same photos as Norton, but slightly different text.

back of the sheet has the following, not alluding to P11A, rather P11.
