Please,
May i have the measurement of the rear loop, frome the upper tube to the center of the shock absorver.
Thank you.

Are you speaking of the rear loop on a P11A and Ranger that supports the rear of the fender? or the loop brazed to the frame on a P11 that supports the front of the fender?

This is the rear loop for a P11A

The P11 rear loop is similar, but does not have the flat metal piece
The Ranger loop is similar, but may not have the holes in the flat piece

The P11 crossover is a piece of tube, about 5/8" diameter, brazed to the frame, and has two tabs (like the rear loop) to mount the front of the P11 fender

Hi Bill thank you.
Please, the crossover brazed means welded to the frame or fit to the upper shock absorver?

Brazed to the frame. It has two tabs on the back which the fender bolts to, and two pins on the front, that sockets at the back of the seat slide onto. The pins are the same design as one would find for mounting tire pumps on other models.

I don't have any good pictures of P11 frames showing this.

The seat has a fiberglass base with two sockets at the back and a tongue at the front. The sockets slide onto the pins on the crossover, and the tongue goes under the fuel tank. The take the seat off, you remove the fuel tank first, then slide the seat forward off the pins.

I don't know if this is useful to you but I got this photocopy from Mike Partridge (Walridge Motors) of a P11/G85 frame measurements.

Nice Drawing!

Those pins - 1 on each side - are what secure the rear of the seat to the bike on a P11 - only the 1967 solo seat. P11A was a different seat with different mounting, and the Ranger was different again. I see in my earlier reply I stated those pins were on the front of the crossover tube, I meant at the front. This drawing shows the arrangement pretty clearly.

On a Ranger, there is one pin just like these on the front flat crossover - just behind the fuel tank - that secures the front of the seat to the bike.

Hi.
Please, can you tell me the external width of the frame tube where fit the insert of the rear loop bracket?
It should be 29 mm?
Thanks for helping me.
Ciao
