P 11 shock absorvers lenght

Right now I don't remember the exact length, but I know they are longer than 13 inches, and are the same length as N15 / G15, and also early BSA A65. Hope that helps.

13.4" eye to eye. Part number: NJB1 shocks
for A65/N15CS-Covered. I had to make spacers for the rubber eyes as these were too large for the 3/8" through bolts. They come with plastic filler pieces but they are low quality and Micky Mouse.

The original Girling oil units were.......
Centres fully extended 13.4 inches.......fully compressed 10.3 inches.
ferrule tube / bush. length 0.942 inch.... bolt diameter 0.375 inch.
Spring. 90 lb. Colour code Green White Green. Fitted length 9.4 inch. Load when fitted 27 lb.
The last 4 digits on an original Girling oil unit would be 4592. IF memory is correct Girling units came with 3 different rebound rates, soft - medium - hard and I have no idea as to what it was for these units but i doubt some manufacxturer of modern replacement new units will not know either and will be pretty safe in the knowledge that 99% plus of owners will not know either or even notice if it is totally wrong!!
 
Hagon can supply the correct length absorbers with or without the shrouding. With the shrouding they are the closest match, in my opinion, as you will get to the original Girling units.
