I have the original chain oiler on my ‘74 Interstate. A tiny on/off valve was installed by the original PO where it can’t be seen.I didn't realize the Mk3 didn't have the 'chain oiler'.
I wonder how many riders still have that fitted and in use
Of course it never crossed my mind to oil the chain this way.

Is that a spray can or a simple oil pump can? I need a nice old fashoined oiler can for all sorts of jobs...I picked one up over xmas from an antique shop...a brass can with nice pump action lever and flex pipe nozzle...gave it to my brother inlaw as xmas gift for his antique car usage (an REO Speed Wagon with open valve springs that needs manual oiling at each fire up).
