I'm in the process of rebuilding a 72 norton 750 for a great friend of mine who's helped me along my career....hes about to retire and hasn't ridden since 1978...thats how long this bike has sat abandoned in a garage after if wouldn't start....ive got the bike running "well" rebuilt the motor and updated a bunch of stuff....just got new tires (original tires are are actually nice....wondering if there value keeping them in case the bike gets stores for another 35 years)

If they are original Dunlop K81/TT 100 marked Made in England then they are of some value to those who build bikes for show where originality is important. They are not desirable and in fact should be considered hazardous to those who intend to ride their bikes.

The original tires on my first and nearly new ‘72 combat roadster were Avon GP 4.10-19. Never liked those, but they did say made in England.

Any collector needing a K81 made in Great Britain, it’s yours if you can pick it up in Stockton.

Old orginal tires worth keeping?

I got rid of my original K81's but still have the original tubes which are heavier than anything you can buy today. I'm tempted to put them back in on the next tire set.
