I had this set of Ohlins, deCarbon type, I built for my P11. Used them for a year and found them satisfactory, but wanted a more competitive look on the P11. Took these off and built a set of piggybacks.
Ohlins piggybacks, with spring down, have mount problems on road Nortons with chain guard, caliper mount and such.
I have simply mocked up this Ohlins set on this Mk3 and it looks doable.
This set shown is 10mm longer at 340mm eye to eye, but the current travel is 105mm, which appears too much.
It is simple matter of longer body or even an external shaft spacer.
Anyone running Ohlins on a Mk3?
