So, what/who benefits from CEIs blather (ok, big oil, answered my own question).
So I would guess that since everyone needs a job to pay the bills, big oil must be
paying the salaries and bills to support this website. Am I wrong?
 
Hey GP do you remember the baking soda and vinegar with the pop bottle and cork when you were a kid? How the cork blew out and the stuff just spewed everywhere leaving you wondering if it would ever stop.....
 
Anybody can do vitriol, but it is usually an indication of stupidity. We all have a choice - individualism or collectivism. That usually decides which side of politics you are on.
 
I think the vitriol is more a product of whether you perceive yourself to be on the "winning" or "loosing" side. But then there are some who can't make a point without being self righteous, sanctimonious, and disrespectful of whoever does not believe in his views.

I don't know how to say vitriol .... but I sure have read lots of it ( vitriol) in our Pub when discussing Trump or Climate .... funny that same folks have similar views on these two topics , almost like the topics are related or .....

In simpler language, most of what’s on the CEI website is bullshit, the rest is made up.

Of the Texans I’ve worked with, not so much. I was an ironworker for 30 years. Worked in refineries in Minnesota and California during turn arounds. Lot of Texan construction companies in refineries. Most of those Texans talked a good game, but when it came time to put up they were sadly lacking.

Another experience I had with a Texan company was an outfit out of Houston contracted to install the curtain wall on a 57 story building in Minneapolis. They didn’t have the foggiest on how to install the curtain wall.

Another Texan I didn’t care for, George W. Bush. He damn near ruined the country. Lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction, too.

BTW, lest you think I put all Texans in the same bag, I worked with a fellow from Austin, TX on a large solar project in the Mohave desert some 25 years ago. He and I became very good friends .

For those of you who are not aware, Grandpaul posted that he used Loctite on the head fasteners of a Commando he built for resale. I call that incompetence.
