I've the bar's decal on my clinic window from when it was in stone court yard setting. Moved now to a 2nd story place in case you're in the area. Jeffrey Powers used to hang on on NOC and BI lists. hobot now a vapor'r
Norton's is a British style pub, in the upstairs just off the Plaza de Armas. It's named after a British motorcycle, and there's lots of biker stuff all over the place. They have pool, darts, and a good atmosphere. Good prices, casual dress, and if it's not too cold, a nice view of the Plaza from their balcony. ... But like anywhere in Cusco, there's a lot of smoke (which I hate!)
The Norton Rat's is set up as somekind of Biker's Bar as you might find somewhere in the American Midwest.

The place is full of music of every description. The variety of restaurants and bars is amazing, from Paddy's Irish Pub, to Norton's Rat Bar (run by a transplanted American and a Londoner who met here and shared a love of Norton Commandos) every kind of food can be found. Lots of indigenous people selling wares on the street and many playing the traditional pan flute. The place is wonderful.

We said good-by to some other Adventure Riders from Brazil, and to Cusco. I really liked Cusco and would return to explore more of the ruins nearby. The city was a delight and we spend most evenings with other riders in Norton Rat bar and restaurant. Started by a gringo it is a popular place for riders. There is a book to sign and add your name and story to posterity.
We rode out of Cusco and almost immediately climbed to 12,500' where we stayed the whole day. We rode from 8 to abut 230 deciding to stop in Puno instead of one of the little tough border towns.
