When I repaint my tank this year I want to put a smaller logo on it, along the lines of the ones CNW uses. My vinyl graphics guy says he can make them for me no problem but needs the file in a "line art vector" format (whatever that means). ideally .ai or .eps file as "bitmapped" images are too fuzzy.
Is there anyone out there be able to help me?

Thanks

I might just be able to help you out Gary. Being a technical illustrator and a Norton “nerd” at the same time, I just HAD to draw up that beautiful Norton logo…

Let me know if your vinyl graphics guy is using PC or Mac, and I will email you the appropriate ai / eps file.

… oh. - I also have the “Commando” and “850” as vector graphics file..

Thanks Niels!
I would like to point out however that anyone who rides a Norton is too cool to be a "nerd".

Two ai files is on their way to you.

I should point out however, that this is not the “original” Norton logo, if ever their was a “original”. All the Norton logos I have seen, seems to vary a little (some actually vary a lot), so to be totally accurate, this could be described as my “interpretation”. I have also attached a jpg version of it, so you should be able to see it in whatever photo viewer program you use. Let me know if you can make use of it. (Don’t mind that the lines are just a bit “fuzzy” in the jpg format. They should be ok in ai)

… Maybe I’m just nerd’ed the cool way…. ?!
