Norton Commando Tracking Database

Hi All,

We have rebuilt the Norton Commando tracking database. Everything is working well. Its not brilliant, but its much better than before. You will notice there is a search option now, so you can search for anything in the database. The database now resides on its own domain here: http://nortoncommando.info/ Or click "Norton Commando Tracker" at the top of this page.

I know I need to add some model numbers. If anyone could let me know which Modern Norton Commando Models I am missing I'll add them.

There is no way to edit the database entries. I will have to do it, so contact me for edits. You will see the date in the left column now. This is the date you enter the Commando data in. All existing dates will show a date of 00000 as this option did not exist before.

Jerry; just a thought regarding confidentially of ownership, do we really want anyone on the internet access to this info?

my concern is regarding making it really easy to become a theft target...

Its the same as it was and I think you should be ok with regard to security. Your address is not available. It only shows what state or province that you are in and your name.

As if you don't have enough to do you're offering to edit our tracking database. OK, mine needs editing. I now live in Arizona rather than Washington and my engine and frame numbers are 301279. Thanks ---Steve

Its ok as it just takes a minute. I cannot easily give you the same login as the forum to be able to edit your info. Going forward I don't expect to be doing much editing unless a bike gets sold. If the database gets big, then I will figure out a way so you can edit your own info.
